Hội thảo về phần mềm Địa kỹ thuật 3D, 2D sẽ được tổ chức từ 8h30 -11h 30 sáng 25/1/2014 tại Đại học giao thông công nghệ. Người trình bầy là TS Đặng Hoàng Kiên, nghiên cứu viên sau Tiến sĩ, cán bộ của Rocscience. Công th đã trao tặng phần mềm cho một số đại học ở Hà nội, Đà nẵng và TP Hồ Chí Minh vào tháng 2/2013. Những kết quả phát triển phần mềm mới nhất của Rocscience sẽ được trình bày.

Các phần mềm 2D cho các bài toán đắp đất, tôn nền, đường hầm, đập, đê của Rocscience là rất tiện ích. GS Paul Marinos đã dùng các phần mềm này và có nhiều đóng góp cho bài toán công trình đường hầm và đập lớn. Ông đã trình bầy những tính toán so sánh, dự báo rất hay tại lớp học tại Hà nội, Đà nẵng, TPHCM và Vĩnh Long vào cuối thánh 7 và đầu tháng 8/2013, Đã có hơn 400 học viên tham dự

CANDE phần mềm tính kết cấu vùi trong đất (cống) miễn phí nhưng chất lượng cao.

Phần mềm do FWHA- hiệp hội đường cao tốc Hoa Kỳ, cơ quan tổ chức soạn thảo tiêu chuẩn thiết kế cầu AASHTO. Do đó mặc dù free nhưng rất chất lượng. Phần mềm này được viết lần đầu từ năm 1976, hiện nay đã có phiên bản cập nhật đến năm 2019, cập nhật tiêu chuẩn AASHTO 2017, các thành tựu về tính toán kết cấu theo phương pháp phần tử hữu hạn- FEA, tương tác giữa đất và kết cấu.

CANDE - là viết tắt của cụm từ, Culvert ANalysis and DEsign.

CANDE có thể phân tích và thiết kế ống, cống chôn trong đất với các loại vật liệu, nhựa, bê tông, thép, ống tròn, cống hộp, cống vòm...

CANDE 2019, cập nhật có thể tính toán ảnh hưởng của phui đào để lắp đặt cống mới so với tuyến cống hiện hữu.

Tóm lại CANDE là một phần mềm tuyệt vời để phân tích và thiết kế kết cấu vùi trong đất.
